Tui Na Hand Techniques EL304B (30 hours, 2.5 units)

The Chinese medical concepts of tonification and sedation are essential when designing treatments specific to the client’s needs. How we use our hands, the manner in which we work acupoints, will determine if we are strengthening Qi energy in our client or dispersing it. This class concentrates on Taoist Elixir style Tuina techniques originally taught in the Yellow Dragon Temple in Canton province and students will learn when to use specific techniques as well as how to do a full body Tuina massage.
