Thai Herbal Massage EL204TH (15 hours, 1.25 units)
In this class you will learn the Thai folk treatment Luk Pra Kope, which means “to massage with medicinal herbs and heat.” It is an ancient Thai healing technique where a steamed herbal poultice is massaged on the body to reduce aches and pains. You will learn a protocol for a clothed and unclothed client.
Path of Study: Asian Healing Arts
Prerequisite: Contemporary Methods of Massage & Bodywork Group A courses (Asian Healing Arts I CMA-1, Circulatory Massage Applications CMA-2, Deep Tissue Sculpting CMA-3, and Somatic Assimilation CMA-4) or instructor consent.
