Essentials of Massage & Bodywork EMB101 (120 hours, 10.0 units)

This course is the foundation for learning at IPSB, for either professional training or personal growth and spiritual development. It is designed to establish a firm grounding in three distinct types of massage: Circulatory, Deep Tissue Sculpting, and Sensory Repatterning. Students will also receive a solid core of skills, knowledge, and experiential understanding of basic massage practices, including breath, movement, body mechanics, anatomy, and ethics. The course is the pre-requisite for the Massage Therapy Certificate program and the foundation for the school’s philosophical approach to learning.
