Creating a Professional Practice CPP208 (30 hours, 3.0 units)

This introductory business course is designed to present the basic relevant information necessary to establish a successful career in massage and bodywork. Students will learn about practice management, marketing, finances, legalities and business planning. Students will experience business as a creative process using visualization, writing, and collage. On completion of the class each student will have their own “Massage and Bodywork Career” Portfolio and Business Plan.

Prerequisite: Contemporary Methods of Massage & Bodywork Group B courses (Clinical Applications I CMB-1, Sensory Repatterning – CMB-2, and Somatic Psychology – CMB-3)
