Somato-Emotional Integration I SP322B1 (30 hours, 2.5 units)

Somato Emotional Integration utilizes techniques that reduce soft tissue dysfunction and imbalance, emphasizing touch that can mobilize breath to process memory and feeling. We will also explore the practitioner’s verbal interactions, encourage cultivation of a non-judgmental, non-invasive attitude, and gain insight into working with individuals from addictive/compulsive and dysfunctional backgrounds, as well as those recovering from physical andemotional abuse.

Path of Study:  Integrative Somatic Methods

Prerequisites (or can be taken concurrently): Principles of Structural Integration PSI318; Communication I: Client-Centered Communications – COMM305-I; and Rhythmic Deep Tissue Blends EL304H
