Admissions Procedures
A prospective student may enroll in individual classes or the certificate courses throughout the year. IPSB operates on a quarter system with occasional mid-quarter classes. Application can be made at any time for all certificate courses and programs. Prospective enrollees are encouraged to visit the school facilities to discuss educational and occupational goals with school personnel prior to enrolling.
Please call (858) 505-1100 to schedule an appointment for a campus tour, or to clarify any questions you may have. Our Admissions department and advisors are generally available from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., to assist you in finding a massage and bodywork program that meets your needs. If you are unable to visit us during these times, an appointment can be arranged to accommodate your schedule.
All certificate and degree program applicants must provide the following items:
- Completed Application for Admission, including non-refundable application fee of $75 (or $10 for first-time non-program enrollments);
- Copy of high school or college diploma, GED or CBEST completion certificate, or college transcript showing completion of a minimum of 60 units;
- For those program applicants not using Federal Financial Aid, a minimum tuition of deposit of $300.
Continuing Education (CE) and other non-program students are not required to provide academic documentation.
New students wishing to apply transfer credits from other accredited programs will be asked to provide official transcripts from their previous colleges within the first quarter of their academic program at IPSB. All transfers are subject to a transfer evaluation fee of $50, plus $5 per unit transferred.
